Wild about Wildflowers

The wild flowers will be here sooner than we know. They are absolutely stunning and the kiddies look so precious in them. I will be booking 20 minute "mini" sessions. There are a limited amount of sessions so they will fill up fast. I am thinking of a vintage theme with antique chairs and maybe an old fashioned baby doll cradle. I have visions of sweet little girls in sundresses. So cute! The "mini" will be $100 and include one digital image on cd and there is no minimum order required. Let me know if you are wild for wildflowers and I will let you know when I start scheduling them.

Dinner at the Ivy House

Tonight we ate dinner at the Ivy House Restaurant in downtown Alachua. If you have never eaten there it is a MUST. It is a victorian house decorated so cute and each room is a dining room. The kids love the food. Even better than the food is the welcoming southern hospitality. We felt like we were guests in Miss Debbie's home. She kept bringing yummy things to eat by the table to keep our 1 year old happy while we were waiting on our dinner. When Miss Debbie couldn't take any more of Sophia's cuteness she scooped her up and took her for a tour around the restaurant and to the kitchen to get milk. After the YUM fried green tomatoes and salad I couldn't even eat my dinner because I was so full. But, don't worry I brought it home ;-) Then peanut butter pie and a chocolate wafer dessert thing buried in whip cream showed up at our table. Needless to say, our dinner was delicious and the experience was wonderful. You won't regret a trip to the Ivy House.

Yay! The fourth day in a row!!! Last but not least... Sophia Grace. She has truly brought such a sweet spirit to our family. She keeps her three older brothers on their toes and wrapped around her little finger. She is constantly blowing kisses to us when she is happy or sad :) We love her!

Hello, blog! Day three - whooooheeee. Introducing Joshua Thomas, our prankster. He is truly the life of the party. He makes me laugh so hard everyday. It's usually just a one liner when you are not expecting it. The other day it was "pocket knife". He put a butter knife in his pocket and said, "hey mom, pocket knife". Made my day :-)

This is my oldest guy. He is so helpful with his younger brothers and sister. He is getting so big! I appreciate that he is always willing to "model" for me :-)

We went to Hiawassee, GA to visit our good friends, Danny and Holly. It was absolutely gorgeous!!! The weather was amazing. No humidity. For us Florida people it was a real treat. We had so much fun hanging out on their boat and swimming, tubing, swinging off of ropes in to the lake and hiking to look at waterfalls. I really enjoyed the cute country shops. Gotta love shopping!!! It was so much fun. Thank you, Danny and Holly, for treating us like royalty - we love you!
